No JavaScript
Captions is a pure cooperation between HTML and CSS . Expect fast load times and full accessibility with JavaScript disabled.
Html5shiv is included to enable Internet Explorer 8 and lower to recognize HTML5 elements. No worries, it doesn’t get loaded in other browsers.
Important notes
- The CSS3 appear and push effects work in Webkit browsers (like Safari and Chrome), Firefox 4+ and Opera 11+
- The CSS3 flip effect works in Webkit browsers
