“Faviconer” – jQuery plugin for which opens up the possibility to manipulate the favicon (the icon website in the browser). It allows you to dynamically change the favicon. If the browser supports HTML5 element canvas, you can draw icon in the script code before using it. If browser does not support element canvas, you can simply bring a different icon.
Support in browsers: Firefox 3.5, Opera 9, Chrome 4.
Note: IE & Safari not support dynamic favicon change.
