Protected Download Links
Protected Links lets you restrict access to download links (+Web Pages and Images) by IP Address, time and number of downloads. A download link can be for single or multiple users.
Expiring Download Links for Email
Send urls to your downloadable products by Email as a protected link with limits on download period and access. It works with any autoresponder/ newsletter system editor that allows to insert a hyperlink.
Restrict Unauthorized Access
Protected Download Links Admin Area allows you to view the complete download link profile. Valid and Invalid Download Attempts. It allows you to ban invalid download accesses effectively.

Added URL Shortening with Protected Page 26th Sep 2016
A Front End WebPage with URL Shortener and Basic URL Protected. Specially useful if you want to start a URL Shortener Website. Else “Protected Links ” Admin Area should be sufficient for you.
Option to upload files to create a protected link. 15th July 2016
Added option to upload a file (below or above root level) in addition to the option to select a url to be protected.
Added a new version for PHP 5.5 with mysqli 13th April 2016.
Included a new version so that people who upgrade to PHP5.5 and above can still use protected Links. The newcode is in folder protectedlinksi. All mysql calls replaced with mysqli calls in this version.
Added option on settings page to show date and time in different formats 9th June 2014.
Now the time and date can be displayed in different formats. For Example: 2012-03-24 17:45:12, Saturday 24th March 2012 5:45pm etc.
Hide URLs for webpages and Images Also 29th May 2014.
Updated “Protected Links”, earlier it worked to provide downloadable files with actual url hidden wth download stats, now it also works to hide url of webpage or image. When “Create URL” is used and a webpage or image url is entered it gives option to serve it as is or as a downloadable.
A files in settings added to set the local time zone of user. 16th Aug 2013.
As per the latest PHP 5.3+ requirements setting a time zone from inside protected links has been added. So that the error “Time Zone not set” is not thrown.
In the Edit URL page changes to description not being saved fixed on 15th-Aug-2012.
A missing file downloadbac.php was included in the “protected links” final package on 29th-June 2012.
People who have purchased before 29th-June 2012 please download the files once again to ensure you have the latest update and everything working as intended.
