Project Structure
Android projects are the projects that eventually get built into an .apk file that you install onto a device. They contain things such as application source code and resource files. - /app/src/main/java – java source code files.
- /app/src/main/res/mipmap – folders with app launcher icons.
- /app/src/main/res/layout/main.xml – file with main layout.
- /app/src/main/res/drawable – folder where all graphics are stored.
- /app/src/main/res/values/strings.xml – file with string values.
- /app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml – describes the nature of the app and each of it’s components.
- /app/build.gradle – describes modules, dependencies and other project setting needed to compile the app.
