I built Shapes as a stand alone one page website that would give a brief overview of a creative business.
I wanted it to be simple but expressive and engaging.
To get a good balance between attractive design and purist function, I have taken a minimalist approach from the ground up. The design centres around interesting typographic composition with some subtle embellishments.
The template works really well across all viewports. It’s modular so you can cut it up and add bits in if you need to. The intention is for this to serve as a holding page where you describe your business and then link out to your blog and social profiles for extra information. Thats why the news section at the bottom links to a third party platform along with the social links in the hero area.
