TikTok is getting bigger, so you must pay serious attention to this app. You’ve probably seen other downloader apps here, with 20 comments where buyers complains about errors, that’s because they are using some websites which are not stable in order to get a download link. That’s NOT HOW this app works.
* WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT OFFER YOU
The app as shown in the video demo. We included video analytics, showing the total number of likes, comments, views and how many times the video was shared on TikTok. Also, we display the author of the video, caption as well as the date and time when the video was uploaded. TikTok app doesn’t show the date and time, so this may be useful for some users to know the exact time when a video was uploaded.
In addition to the video analytics part, we show a share button instead of a download button, this way the user can share the video directly via iMessage, AirDrop, E-Mail, and other services. But more importantly, allowing users to save the video into their Photos app without watermark.
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED
You will need a Mac computer with Xcode 11.4 installed. Also, a Google AdMob account for ads.
HOW DOES THIS APP WORKS *
The app is using a 3rd party private framework called ‘TikTokFeed’. We have another TikTok related app called ‘TikStats’ which uses a similar version of the framework that has been proven to be a stable solution to get TikTok information.
Users will only need to copy & paste their TikTok video URL, then tap the ‘See Video Details’ button and the app will request all video details from TikTok using the ‘TikTokFeed’ framework. As a developer, you don’t need to worry about any kind of API requests or maintain too much code, the framework will do the work for you.
Users will tap the ‘Share Video’ button, then the app will request a download link and start downloading the video via the framework and once the video is ready, the app will have the video stored locally in the app’s documents folder until the user is ready to watch the video or share/save the video file.
The app was built in Xcode 11.4 and the design is using one view controller and storyboard. As always, a very clean and tested code.
